The Honda Airwave had two different versions. One was the basic “G” model and the other one was the improved and well-equipped “L” model. This subcompact was also sold as “Honda Partner (GJ3/GJ4 series)” panel van from August 2009 to 2010 in Japan.
Between the “Airwave” and “Partner”, airwave had 1.5L L15A engine and partner had 1.5L L15Ai- DSI 14 engine. It delivers smooth acceleration of 0- 100 km/h in 12.5 seconds with 143 Nm torque, 110 horsepower and high output performance at mid to high speeds. It has a 1500cc engine, alloy wheels with front wheel drive and automatic transmission facility and has a top speed of 167 km/h. Honda Airwave provides fuel efficiency or mileage of 5.6 l/100km or 50.9 mpg respectively. Most of the reconditioned cars run on octane, whereas some of used Airwaves are converted to run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) too!
