Maruti Suzuki Cars for Sale in Bangladesh

The Maruti Suzuki India Limited is the leading automobile manufacturer in India, and a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan. It was founded as Maruti Udyog Limited in 1981, with the collaboration of Indian government and Suzuki. However, the Indian government currently has no stake in the company, as it has sold its part of ownership to the financial institutions in the country. Currently, the company is producing a variety of vehicles for different market segments. Maruti Suzuki does not only distribute its vehicles in India but also exports them to international markets. Uttara Motors Limited is the authorized dealership offering Maruti Suzuki cars for sale in Bangladesh.

Innovations and Technologies from Maruti Suzuki

The scientists and engineers employed at Maruti Suzuki are constantly striving to innovate and develop vehicles that can compete in the contemporary global automotive industry. As of December 2013, Maruti Suzuki had registered over 110 patents. According to the company, the strategic innovations are driven by young staff engineers working at Maruti Suzuki.

It should be noted that in the start Maruti was only involved in importing the Suzuki vehicles to India and distributing them in the local markets. However in 1983, the company launched its first production model named Suzuki 800. At the present time, Maruti Suzuki is manufacturing a long line of cars for different vehicle segments.

The Indian automaker is very much concerned about the fuel efficiency of its vehicles, which is why it is producing some of the most fuel efficient petrol cars in India. Moreover, the company strives to extend the fuel efficiency of its existing models by bringing upgraded versions.

In 2010, Maruti Suzuki introduced i-GPI (intelligent gas port injection) bi-fuel technology which is aimed at reducing the impact of vehicles on the natural environment. This technology is currently used in five production models of the company. The small vehicles like Alto and Swift along with others are produced in compliance with the End of Life Vehicles (ELV) directives of Europe.
