Tata Indigo is a sub-compact sedan car produced by the Indian automobile company Tata Motors, introduced to the Indian market in 2002. The first generation of the Indigo is based on the sub-compact hatchback Tata Indica. Though these two cars has an analogous design, Indigo gives its customer the options of choosing from either turbocharged-diesel or petrol engine. In 2006, the car received a facelift and now owns distinguishing features from the Indica. The eCS Tata Indigo version is available with three engine options, in Bangladesh, only the 1193 cc MPFI petrol engine version is available. It puts out a modest 65 horsepower and 102 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a new five-speed gearbox and one reverse gear. For every liter of diesel, this car will give an average mpg of 25 kilometers per liter in combined urban and highway. It hits 100 kilometers per hour from the standstill in only 16.5 seconds. Finally, it has ventilated disc brakes at front and drum brakes at its rear.

The newer version of eCS received a new upmarket double-barreled smoked headlamps, front bumper and a new grille with a generous dose of chrome with a chrome strip at the rear. It comes in six different vibrant colors, including shades of red and gray.

It has a boot with 380 liters of capacity, big enough to carry big luggage even if you put the CNG cylinder at the back.

For safety features, it has central locking with key, high mounted stop lamp, child safety lock on rear doors, collapsible steering and warning for driver's door open when the passengers forget to fasten their seatbelts.
